Rolls Royce Electric Car


The auto giant Rolls-Royce developed a complete electric and eco friendly car called 102EX. It is heard that the company has no plans for a rapid production of  the electric car in  large scale but to extended experiments in its prototype. It is expected to be unveiled in the Geneva auto show . Rolls Royce is an established brand not only in automobile manufacturing but also in other areas like airlines, defense, electricity etc. the customer list of  Rolls Royce contains only the royal families  and some of the billionaires around the world. It started as a car manufacturer and later they designed the hovercrafts, fighter plane engines, and now supply the engines of airbuses for Boeing, even the engine of the ship Queenmary is Rolls Royce.

All New WagonR LPG Model

Here comes the all new WagonR duo, with petrol and LPG options. The two engines and two EC’s assure the easy conversion from petrol to LPG and vise versa. The 22.5 litters LPG tank is planted comfortably side by side to the steppiny tyre. The petrol tank lead and the LPG refilling point are on the same side in order to make the refueling easy. The wagonR duo will be offered only in Lxi variant and tagged a price of Rs.4.05 lak, more than its petrol variant by Rs.34000

Safari Sticks To Safety Mode

Tata safari is geared up for another ride, equipped with all kinds of advanced safety measures. The new safari is not any different by look from its previous model but gives more importance to the safety of travelers. Blast proof body and fuel tank, bullet proof glasses and fine leather upholstered interior are some of its highlighted features. Its run flat tires can run in 60km speed up to a distance of 50 km even when it is punctured. Its suspension is built stronger as the body weight increased. The expected price is 60 lak which is considered cheaper when compared to 3.75crores and 4 crore  of discovery and land rover models introduced by them last year.

Indian Freelander

Jaguar Land rover owner Tata motors plans to assemble the luxurious model Freelander in india itself in a view to avoid the tax reduction permitted to the domestically assembled cars. As per the new proposal the parts will be imported form UK and assembled in the plant near Pune ,may be from the end of this year.

Volkswagen India Reached 50000 th Milestone In Chakan Plant

Volkswagen reached the milestone of manufacturing 50000 cars in the company plant at Chaken in Pune. The 50000th unit was a brand new Vento, other models like Skoda, Fabia, Polo are also being manufactured in the same plant.

New Diesel Engine For Beat

Chevrolet motors plans to introduce the diesel variant of its popular hatchback model Beat from the Talegaon plant by this july. It will be a challenge to its equivalent competitors like figo, ritz, and polo. The new Beat will have a 3 cylinder diesel engine with 60bhp and 100 NM torque. The expected price is 4.20 to 5.5 lak.
