Renault joins with Nissan after their companionship with Mahindra was ended up. The new allies have plans to introduce 5 new models for which a new plant is being established near Chennai. They already introduced two new models among these 5, which are named Fluence and Koleos
Fluence is a C segment sedan in the category of Jetta, Laura, Corolla etc, but said to be gigantic when compared to these models. It carries a 105bhp 2litter common rail diesel engine with an assured millage of 17 km per litter. Priced at 12-13 lakh rupees, Fluence is expected to touch Indian shops in the June.
On the other hand Koleos is a 4*4 crossover SUV in the Captiva, Fortuner, CRV category. It has a 150bhp 2litter common rail diesel engine with 6 speed automatic, manual transmissions. Koleos is priced at 17-20 lakh and will be out in this October.
