Mercedes Benz unveiled its globally popular masculine SUV, G-wagon in India on the occasion of the company’s 125th anniversary. The G-Wagon carries a powerful AMG engine which ensures the most luxurious and easy journey even in the toughest roads. The company authorities revealed that, they had already received grate response in the Indian markets and assured that the vehicle will be made available in the showrooms shortly. It is imported to India and costs a showroom price of around 1.10 crores in Mumbai. The primary model in the G-wagon series was introduced in 1979, which received a global acceptance and thus it came in several renewed versions up to the latest G-wagon. The Mercedes car sales in India marked a tremendous uprising trend in recent years, where in 2009 the sales was 528 units and the very next year it increased to 1104 units. The G55 AMG has a 5.5 litter petrol engine with 507HP, which takes only 5.5seconds to gain a speed of 100kms.
