The car sales in India has surpassed its past records in the beginning of the year 2011. Almost 184332 brand new cars had hit the Indian roads in the first month of 2011 itself, which is much higher in number when compared to the 145971 cars of the previous year.The sales of car in 2011 has set a new record by outrunning the record sales of 182992 cars in October 2010.This rising trend is also resembled in the sales of bus and trucks.Thus the initial figures indicate that 2011 is going to be favorable for the automobile industry.
