Maruti comes up with the diesel variant of its premium model SX4. The 1248cc and 89bhp variable geometry turbo multi get diesel engine used in new sx4 is the same as used in its competitor models like Indigo Manza and fiat Linea. The five speed manual transmission sx4 has a higher ground clearance of 190MM, which is considered to be more comfortable in the Indian roads. The new sx4 is available in two variants ie; vdi and cdi priced Rs.7.74 and Rs.8.62 respectively. The company assured better millage and performance for the new sx4 citing the reduced weight of 70kgs in comparison with its similar opponent models.
