Tata motors decided to use 30% Indian made parts for jaguar-land rover models, in order to bring down the manufacturing costs of these brands. The crucial decision is made upon the fact that spare parts in European standards are available in India at cheaper costs. Tata motors have been using local spare parts in jaguar-land rover models after acquisition of these brands. The high mount LED rear break light in land rover is manufactured by Delhi based Lumax auto technologies.
