Maruti faces tough competition from Toyota Etios,to overcome this challenge Maruti is forced to take several precautionary measures. As part of these precautionary measures the company decided to lower the price of Swift Dezire, also decrease its length to 4meters in order to avail the reduction in excise duty, as a result of these the price of the car will be reduced upto Rs.40000 to 60000. The shortened model of Swift Dezire will be rolling out of the plant in months time.
